A brooder box is where chicks go right after they hatched and dried up. This is so that bigger chicks don’t kill them. The amount of sawdust has to be less than how much you usurious for bigger chickens since chicks have smaller bodies and could easily break. Also there’s food and water for the chicks. This is where they will be for a couple of weeks until they are big enough to be moved to a bigger area w the rest of the chickens. -Aina
